| Gavialosuchus Skull - This Gavialosuchus americanus skull was discovered in Polk County, Florida in 1990 in a phosphate mine. This specimen is the largest and most complete ever found. With a 52” (132cm) skull, it is estimated that its total body length would have been approximately 32 feet (15.8 M). This specimen is from the Miocene period and aged at about 5.5 million years old.
