Giant Anteater Skull

Giant Anteater - The giant anteater, as its name suggests, is an insectivore, eating a variety of insects including termites and ants. This species has evolved a long sticky tongue that is specialized for lapping its small prey from within their mounds. The giant anteater is a member of the Order Xenarthra, which also includes the armadillos and sloth.
