Brandt's Cormorant Skull - The Brant’s cormorant is native to the Pacific coast of North America. This gregarious pelagic species nests in huge numbers on rocky outcrops and cliff sides. Cormorants are carnivores, diving under the water to catch fish. Cormorants are often seen perching near the shore with their wings extended in an effort to dry them. |
