| Broad-snouted Caiman - The broad-snouted caiman is native to freshwater and brackish marshes and swamps in regions of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Although this length is rare in the wild, this species has been recorded reaching 11.5 feet (3.5 M). The broad-snouted caiman feeds on a variety of aquatic invertebrates as well as small fish and turtles.
