Caribbean Flamingo Skull

Caribbean Flamingo Skull - The range of the Caribbean flamingo includes the Bahamas, the West Indies, the Mexican Yucatan, northern South America, the Galapagos Islands, southern Europe, northern Africa and the southern coast of the United States. The Caribbean flamingo, also called the greater flamingo, stands 4 feet tall and has a wingspan of nearly 5 feet. Flamingos use their specialized beak to sift small invertebrates, algae and micro-organisms from the water. A flamingoes pink color is due largely to their diet.
