| Cuscus The Cuscus is a pouched marsupial native to New Guinea and surrounding islands. The cuscus inhabits tropical forests and thick scrub. Their nocturnal, arboreal existence is aided by their strong prehensile tail. Primarily a fruit eater, the cuscus will also occasionally prey on small vertebrates and insects.
