Jay Villemarette, owner and president of Skulls Unlimited International, Inc., founded the company in 1986. From his humble beginnings, cleaning skulls in his kitchen, Jay has built Skulls Unlimited into a successful international corporation. Now in its 21st year, Skulls Unlimited continues to grow. Soon, Jay's long time dream of opening a skeleton museum will become a reality when the Museum of Osteology opens to the public.

Eric Humphries began his career with Skulls Unlimited in June 1992. Eric serves as production manager and oversees all cleaning and articulation. Eric was the company's original Master Articulator and still occasionally takes time to assemble a skeleton or two.

Michelle Hayer has served as the Office Manager of Skulls Unlimited since August 1992. Michelle maintains all office records and many other duties too numerous to list. Michelle serves as an integral cog in the Skulls Unlimited wheel.

Dave "Dee" Williams has been with Skulls Unlimited since November 1998. Dee serves as the Custom Cleaning Foreman overseeing all of the chemical processes. He diligently moves thousands of skulls a year through our chemical baths giving each the individual attention it merits.

Allyson Reed is the Skulls Unlimited Inventory and Custom Cleaning Manager since September 2000. Allyson's job revolves around making sure Skulls Unlimited's customers stay happy. Allyson's cheerful personality always brightens up our office.

Clark Griffith has served as a Master Articulator for Skulls Unlimited since August 2001. Clark's attention to detail as well as his mechanical mastery allows him to produce some of the finest skeletal articulations in the world.

Dale Dorsey began working for Skulls Unlimited in November 2001. Dale serves as the Master Flenser and Brain-remover Technician. Dale is the first step in cleaning or preparing any specimen at Skulls Unlimited.

Joey Williams began as the Director of Education for Skulls Unlimited in July 2003. In addition to developing Skulls Unlimited's educational product line, Joey assists with many other company tasks including the development of the forthcoming Museum of Osteology. Joey holds a biology degree from Pittsburg State University.

Jay Villemarette Jr., the eldest son of Skulls Unlimited's owner, has been working for the company off and on for most of his life. Jay currently serves as a Master Skeletal Articulator. Jay's inherited passion for bones is clear in the quality of his work.

Josh Villemarette, like his brother Jay Jr., has been working in some fashion for Skulls Unlimited for much of his life. Josh assists in many production duties including flensing, de-braining, general maintenance, photography for internet sales, skeleton articulation, and assisting with the development of the forthcoming Museum of Osteology. Currently along with being a college student, Josh works daily and is a valuable asset to the Skulls Unlimited crew.

Jaron is the youngest son of Skulls Unlimited owner, Jay Villemarette. Jaron has worked for the company off and on for many years. Jaron now works part time after school and performs a variety of tasks from flensing to general maintenance.

There are many ways to clean a skull, but the use of dermestid beetles is by far the best. Not only do these little guys help preserve all the finest details of a specimen, they also insure that every last tidbit of tissue is removed. Dermestid beetles, or Dermestes maculatus, are a natural decomposer. Their job is to help the process of rotting and decomposition, providing rich nutrients back to the soil as well as keeping our world free of carcasses. Here at Skulls Unlimited, the dermestid is one of our hardest working employees. They live and breathe their job, often working for 4 to 5 months non-stop for little more than room and board.
