| Hoolock Gibbon The hoolock gibbon, also called the white-browed gibbon, is native to the forests of eastern India, Bangladesh, Myanmar and southern China. This is a large species of gibbon, second only to the siamang. Males of this species are black in color while females are light to dark brown. The diet of the hoolock gibbon consists of fruit, leaves and insects.
