Horned Puffin Skull

Horned Puffin Skull - The horned puffin is native to the north Pacific. This species has a characteristically colorful beak giving them a clown-like appearance. Puffins are generally solitary except when congregating at breeding and nesting sites. Puffins are carnivores with a diet consisting primarily of fish and smaller birds. A puffins body is adapted for flight as well as diving and swimming making it a formidable predator in the air and water.
