Owner and President
Jay Villemarette, owner and president of Skulls Unlimited International, Inc., founded the company in 1986. From his humble beginnings, cleaning skulls in his kitchen, Jay has built Skulls Unlimited into a successful international corporation. Skulls Unlimited still continues to grow. Jay's long time dream of opening a skeleton museum has become a reality with the opening of the Museum of Osteology.

Co-owner
Kim, along side husband Jay, opened Skulls Unlimited in 1986 and served as the company's first official employee. From the very start, during those humble beginnings, Kim always supported Jay's passion for skulls...even when he boiled them on the kitchen stove! Although her job over the past 20 years has primarily revolved around being a mother to their four children, Kim has always played a pivotal role in the development and growth of Skulls Unlimited. Currently her tasks within the company consist of internet marketing and social networking.

Production
There are many ways to clean a skull, but the use of dermestid beetles is by far the best. Not only do these little guys help preserve all the finest details of a specimen, they also insure that every last tidbit of tissue is removed. Dermestid beetles, or Dermestes maculatus, are a natural decomposer. Their job is to help the process of rotting and decomposition, providing rich nutrients back to the soil as well as keeping our world free of carcasses. Here at Skulls Unlimited, the dermestid is one of our hardest working employees. They live and breathe their job, often working for 4 to 5 months non-stop for little more than room and board.
