Malayan Flying Lemur - Colugo Skull Natural Bone |
| Galeopterus variegates Flying lemurs, also named by the Malaysian word "colugo", are not true lemurs. Flying lemurs were originally named for their comb-like lower incisors used for grooming. The two species of flying lemur represent a distinct order called Dermoptera. This order is a rare find in most collections. Skulls Unlimited has a very limited number of skulls and full skeletons of this species available. Average Skull Length: 2.9" (7.4 cm) |
