African Lion Skeleton
The African Lion, as its name suggests, is native to the plains of Africa. This large predator prefers grassy plains, savannas, and semi-deserts. Lions are carnivores feeding on a variety of animals ranging from small insects to large herbivores such the giraffe. This species is known for its sociable lifestyle. Unlike most other great cats, African lions live in groups. The groups are known as a "Pride".
Tamandua Skull and Claw
TThe tamandua, also known as the collared anteater, is native to Central and South America. The tamandua is a member of the order Pilosa, which also includes sloth and armadillos. Tamandua are insectivores specialized in eating insects. The tamandua uses its long front claws for digging through ant and termite mounds, then laps its prey with its sticky tongue.
These limited quantity adult tamandua specimen measures 5.2 inches long and 1.65 inches wide on average. Each specimen comes with a matching claw, average claw length is 6.4cm along the curve.
