Patas Monkey Skull - The patas monkey, also called the red guenon, is found in a large area of central and western Africa. This medium sized primate is primarily ground dwelling, but may take to trees to forage or escape danger. Patas monkeys are omnivorous, feeding on a variety of leaves, grasses, berries, insects and small vertebrates. This species displays strong sexual dimorphism with the males nearly doubling the females in size.
