Saltwater Crocodile Skull

Saltwater Crocodile - The saltwater crocodile is native to regions of Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia, and a handful of surrounding islands. This species has a high tolerance for salinity, hence its name, and can easily inhabit brackish coasts, as well as saltwater estuaries. An adult saltwater crocodile can reach a length of 7m (23 feet) and weigh up to 1200kg (2640 lbs). This species, like all crocs, is a carnivore feeding on various small to large vertebrates found within their habitat. This skull was cast from a very large specimen.
