Sivapithecus indicus Skull

Sivapithecus indicus - At first glance, Sivapithecus appears to be very similar to modern orangutans. However, recent study of postcranial remains as well as dentition suggests a hominid relation. This specimen was discovered in 1979 in Pakistan.
