Springhare Skull

Springhare Skull - This nocturnal rodent species, with its large powerful hind legs, more closely resembles a rabbit. Native to desert regions of southern Africa, the springhare burrows to escape the daytime heat. The springhare, sometimes called the springhaas, is herbivorous feeding on bulbs, grasses, grainds, berries and crops.
