Predatory tools are biological weapons used by carnivores to hunt and capture prey. The most common examples are claws, talons, and canine teeth.

The uses of predatory tools are as unique as the species possessing them. They range from talons which seize prey in flight, as with the great white owl, to claws that may sweep the feet right out from under an animal, such as the bobcat stalking a rabbit. Many animals also use their claws to bury their prey, caching it as it is called, so that they may return for it at a later time.

Canines, often known as fangs, are also important in a carnivore's daily life. Many cats use them to suffocate prey. Other uses range from holding prey, to tearing flesh while consuming them.
