Baboons are large, terrestrial monkeys found in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. They live in troops of up to 250 individuals and have a wide range of facial expressions and vocalizations used to communicate with one another. Baboons are omnivorous, feeding on fruits, leaves, insects, and even small mammals. They are highly social and have a hierarchical structure with a dominant male. These primates are known for their intelligence and use of tools to find food.
