SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology,provides quality educational opportunities and allows school groups and the public to explore the form and function of the skeletal system.
Our museum is currently displaying over 450 skeletons from all corners of the world, visitors have a unique opportunity to compare and contrast many rare species normally not seen in museum exhibits.SKELETONS: Museum of Osteologyis truly a unique experience and the only Skeleton Museum in North America!
As a vital manager, and member of the Skeleton Crew, your main accountabilities are to achieve these results:
Maintaining digital marketing presence by responding to user generated posts, comments and reviews on social media accounts and travel sites
Casual photography of Group Visits, Museum Events, and Conferences
Creating and maintaining event pages and general content on museum website and Facebook
Responding to emails regarding events inquiries and opportunities
Maintaining and updating email databases
Communicating events needs, changes, feedback, or ideas
Maintaining general knowledge of Group Visit offerings / pricing / scheduling and bringing best practices to the Museum to increase sales.
Conducting community/business outreach to generate new event sales, parties and corporate events – and promote all online/in-person educational classes,
Accurately completing sales transactions when staffing conferences using a mobile application
Creating tickets and ticketing links for events using Booking Software
Uploading ticketed event information and links to the museum website
Generating a weekly and monthly event/sales reports for the Museum Management
Informing and training museum staff on new promotions, offers, and discounts in POS
Working with Gift Shop/Admissions Manager to maintain organization of ticket products inside POS systems
Working with Gift Shop/Admissions Manager to keep marketing promo codes current in POS systems
Events / Conferences:
Promoting at conferences/expos, while focusing on the target audience for each event (concierge employees, homeschoolers, etc.) and collecting sales leads
Staffing and facilitating Museum Events, including set up and break down, interacting with guests and monitoring all activity
Traveling to and staffing offsite events, such as conferences, etc., including set up, break down and formal presentations
Maintaining Marketing Materials inventory and organization
Communicating Event and Conference needs, changes, feedback, or ideas
3+ years as a marketing professional, specializing in both digital, and conventional, non-digital marketing approaches.
A proven expertise in web analytics and digital trends including SEO.
Ability to analyze real-time realities across all channels and customer types, then provide a growth-focused vision, develop the roadmap, and deliver increased revenue and brand awareness.
Ability to analyze campaign KPIs and then develop strategies to creatively, elevate outcomes.
Proven ability to examine user behavior to improve engagement and other metrics on websites, social media, and digital ads.
Extensive PPC (pay per click) experience with Google Analytics, Bing, and Facebook Ads.
Highly Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel
