The Great Pyrenees or also known as the Pyrenean Mountain Dog is part of the large breed of dogs. They are used as a livestock guardian dog. Their average weight can be from 110-130 lbs for a grown male. They were bred to help shepherds with their flocks of sheep. Now they are mostly house pets, guarding the family. The Great Pyrenees has mainly a white coat with varying shades of grey, red, or tan around the face.
