Chacma baboons are primates found throughout Africa. They have a dark brown to black fur, with a light underside and a white muzzle. Chacma baboons are omnivorous, feeding on a variety of fruits, seeds, flowers, leaves, roots, insects and small animals. They are highly social and live in large troops of up to 50 individuals. Chacma baboons are very vocal and use a variety of calls to communicate with each other. They are also very brave and will defend themselves against predators when necessary.
