The Great Pyrenees, also known as the Pyrenean Mountain Dog is a large breed of dog used as a livestock guardian. Their average weight can be from 110-130 lbs for a fully-grown male. They were originally bred to help shepherds with their flocks of sheep. Now, they are mainly kept as house pets. The Great Pyrenees generally has a white coat with varying shades of grey, red, or tan around the face.
