The eland is found in East and Southern Africa in savannahs and or plains. They are herbivores, so they eat mostly grasses and leaves. Eland is used for their leather, meat, and milk. The elands from herds in the wild and can be up to 500 in a herd. The eland is the slowest species of antelope, with a peak speed of about 25mph which tires them quickly.
