Lories and lorikeets are small to medium-sized arboreal parrots. Species with longer tapering tails are generally referred to as "lorikeets", while species with short blunt tails are generally referred to as "lories". They are in the Psittaculidae family and can be found in Australia. They mostly consume pollen and nectar. They have a special tongue that is adapted to this special diet.
