The hammer-headed bat is a fruit bat species found in the forests and swamps of equatorial Africa. It is Africa's largest bat, reaching wingspans of up to 38 inches (97 cm), and males of the species are significantly larger than the females. Hammer-headed bats are frugivores: figs make up much of their diet, but they are also known to consume mangos, bananas and guavas.
- The photos shown are examples of what your specimen will approximately look like. Each bat is unique and will vary in size, shape, color, etc.
- These do have some tissue and may seem "dusty" - this is natural
