The Himalayan, or Himalayan Persian, is a long-haired cat breed. Their coat can be many different color variations but the most common is what is called blue point. Blue point is a cat whose blue coat color is confined to the points like the feet, ears, tail, and face mask. The Himalayan are intelligent breed, sweet-tempered, and generally very social and good companions.
