The Patagonian Mara is a large, rabbit-like rodent found exclusively in Patagonia. They have compressed, hoof-like feet and long limbs. They are herbivores, feeding primarily on green vegetation and fruit. Mara pairs are monogamous and the males follow the females almost everywhere they go.
