The white-nosed coati or also know simply as coatimundi is part of the Procyonidae family which the raccoon is part of. The size of the coatimundi is on average 3.5 feet long from nose-to-tail. They are native to a few regions of the southwestern US. They have a flexible, moveable snout, which they use to forage for fruit, invertebrates, and other animal matter.
