The white-tipped reef shark is a species of requiem shark found in the Indo-Pacific region. It is characterized by its slender body, white-tipped dorsal and caudal fins, and preference for shallow coral reefs and lagoons. White-tipped reef sharks are primarily nocturnal predators, feeding on a variety of small fish, cephalopods, and crustaceans. They are typically not aggressive towards humans unless provoked, and are often encountered by divers and snorkelers in their natural habitat.
