Real Springhare Skeleton - Disarticulated
The springhare is a nocturnal, burrowing rodent found in the grasslands and semi-arid regions of southern and eastern Africa. Despite its name, it's not a true hare but has large hind legs and a long tail, allowing it to hop like a small kangaroo. Springhares feed mostly on grasses and roots and use their strong legs to leap several feet in a single bound to escape predators.
