Real Gray Wolf Skull - Pathology
This is a one-of-a-kind product with unique photographs. You will receive the exact specimen shown, and once sold, it will be removed from the website.
This is a real gray wolf (Canis lupus) skull exhibiting significant pathology of the left mandible, with associated bone remodeling and tooth loss on the affected side. The upper left canine is broken at the base, while the nasal turbinates remain intact and the right dentition is well-preserved. Suitable for comparative carnivore anatomy, veterinary pathology study, or osteological research collections.
The gray wolf is part of the Canidae family, found in Eurasia and North America. Wolves have an extremely heightened sense of smell, making them one of the fiercest hunters in the animal kingdom. Gray wolves are highly social gregarious animals and their packs tend to have 5 to 9 members on average.
