The Cape grysbok is a small, shy antelope native to the fynbos and shrublands of South Africa’s Western Cape. It has a reddish-brown coat flecked with white, giving it a grizzled appearance, and males sport short, sharp horns. Primarily nocturnal and solitary, the Cape grysbok feeds on leaves, shoots, and fruits, often browsing in dense cover.
