In vertebrate anatomy, ribs are the long curved bones which form the rib cage. In most tetrapods, ribs surround the chest, enabling the lungs to expand and thus facilitate breathing by expanding the chest cavity. They serve to protect the lungs, heart, and other internal organs of the thorax.
- Measurements are made along the curve

This was a gift for my friend and they loved it. Wish it had come with a certified card like the animal skull I bought though
Great experience, easy to order.
The item arrived on time in advertised condition. I will continue to use Skulls Unlimited as I build my collection.
Received the package insanely fast. Item was as expected, smaller than I imagined but that could just be my lack of knowledge regarding skeletal anatomy. While I have not personally had an expert verify the item it does fit the description as given. Great starter bone for a collection imo. Would buy again.
Perfect! Hung up in my room! Also a good back scratcher
