Real Mouse Skull Set
This is a one-of-a-kind product with unique photographs. You will receive the exact specimen shown, and once sold, it will be removed from the website.
This curated set of four real mouse skulls provides educators and collectors with comparative anatomy across the Muridae family. Each skull exhibits natural morphological variations—from the Desert Pocket Mouse's compact form to the larger Grasshopper Mouse—ideal for studying rodent skeletal diversity and evolutionary adaptation. Museum-sourced specimens with original archival markings add provenance and authenticity to classroom or collection displays.
The term "mouse" can refer to any number of small rodents within the Muridae family. The House mouse Mus musculus , is often associated with human populations and can be found on every continent. Mice, like all rodents, have ever growing incisors, and therefore, need to chew on wood or other materials to wear them down. This, along with their appreciation for human food and crops, and the propensity to spread disease, causes the mouse to be one of humanity's worst pests.
