This is a real peccary skull. It retains most of its original dentition with the exception of the upper canines. The skull exhibits natural discoloration consistent with age and is sold in its current condition without additional cleaning. An authentic addition to any natural history or educational collection.

Peccaries are medium-sized, pig-like mammals found in the Americas, especially in deserts, grasslands, and tropical forests. They have coarse fur, short legs, and a pig-like snout, but they’re not true pigs—they belong to their own family, Tayassuidae. Social and adaptable, peccaries travel in groups and feed on a mix of roots, fruits, and small animals.
