The horn shark is a species of bullhead shark found along the continental shelf of the eastern Pacific Ocean. Female horn sharks are oviparous, laying up to 24 unique, spiral-shaped eggs each spring. These sharks are generally nocturnal, feeding on a diet that includes small fish, invertebrates, and crustaceans.
