Every letter is built from a different species — a butterfly for the B, a spiral seashell for the I, a fox curled nose-to-tail for the O — and it carries on through a toucan’s beak, a prairie dog, a spiraling antelope horn, an eagle mid-wingbeat, a giraffe, a snake, an ant, a hammerhead shark, and a lobster holding up the Y. Twelve letters, twelve very different branches of the animal kingdom, printed in bright blue and gold on a soft lavender tee with OKLAHOMA ★ CITY anchoring the bottom. The heavyweight garment-dyed cotton starts out soft and only improves with washing.
